Teaching

My many years of Buddhist practice have led me to believe the road that leads to the end of suffering is traveled when chanting Nam – Myoho – Renge – Kyo and arduously studying the sutras.  Thus, we develop abundant compassion, profound wisdom and realize our goal, enlightenment.
Wisdom, insight and experience tempered by humility are at the foundation of my teaching philosophy.  Each student is unique requiring a varying amount of practice, time and patience to flourish. As teacher I draw upon a multitude of intrinsic and extrinsic stimuli, sometimes with passion and other times subtly.  In most instances, I am the teacher, but at times I am the student. In this great educational symphony I am always the conductor giving tirelessly of self to draw out the best from both soloist and orchestra.
